"SMALL ACTS, WHEN MULTIPLIED BY MILLIONS OF PEOPLE, CAN TRANSFORM THE WORLD"
- HOWARD ZINN
ALL MY HEROS ARE WEIRDOS
"When all of the pillars that were holding up my life came crumbling down, I decided to press the pause button on life. I made happiness my ambition and started a personal blog as a written promise to keep me on track: All My Heroes Are Weirdos, "doing good stuff to be a better me".
That promise led me on a journey to elevated consciousness. I rediscovered my love for storytelling and truly began to understand the power of thought. I left behind the life I'd always known and set off on an adventure, relinquishing all material possessions and all preconceptions of what I thought my future would be. I wanted to be interested in everything and committed to nothing.
I lived with Buddhist monks in Menorca, took one-way flight to Thailand where I headed up a Fair Trade label, spent 10 days in silence at a Vipassana retreat in Burma before returning to Thailand to work as a writer and a business consultant. And it was on that journey to remembering who I was, that I realised just how mindless I'd become.
Storytelling became my therapy and helped me turn my mind into the strongest and most powerful force I've ever known. Through stories, I completely changed my lifestyle and how I interacted with entities such as fashion. Now, I want to help others do the same. This is why Mindless exists today."

If you require clothing in some form then you are a part of the fashion engine. Ultimately, the essence of fashion does bring value to our life. It’s art, creativity, expression, protection. However, these values are being lost in the pursuit of scale and profit, and this is negatively impacting our planet and our minds. We are a platform that drives important conversations of solutions and positive change by elevating a diverse range of voices and perspectives, through articles, collaborations and digital storytelling.
"On a personal level, I love to challenge our perceptions of society and question reality as it's presented to us. I’ve been called a 'lil' anarchist' by my parents as I’ll frequently sabotage a peaceful family dinner by needing to discuss the climate crisis, the endless issues in fashion and the world. But my passion for these discussions stem from my drive to help realise a fairer fashion future and planet for everyone. It comes down to people + planet > profit. These are the important stories we both share and listen to at Mindless Mag."
